Yep, we're being mean and making you pick only ONE album. 'Cause we're like that.

Its a tough one for sure! I love all the albums for different reasons. I constantly forget how good House of Ill Fame is and always love throwing it on. I think its the most rockin of the albums. I didn’t appreciate a lot of the songs on den of thieves when it first came out, specifically the travelling kind, Ishmael & Maggie and Montebello park but they've become some of my all time favourites. I think den of thieves sonically sounds the best of the three studio albums. Id love if they snuck sweetness into the setlist more I always thought it should have been a single. It certainly kicks ass live. No time for later is probably my favourite of the albums. Its much more consistent then house of ill fame and den of thieves. The song writing is vastly improved. My only complaint about no time for later would be the production. I really loved the huge sound of it when it first came out but ive come to dislike the production. I think if you took no time for alter and gave it the production that den of thieves has it would be a better record. Im really happy the new record has been recorded live off the floor like den of thieves and not like no time for later where every instrument was recorded separately. I was actually disappointed with the acoustic record. I find it comes off feeling a bit hollow. Something about it doesn’t jive with me. I actually haven’t given it many listens, although i love sing your heart out and locked doors. Its my least favourite of the albums. I would really love an live electric album some day, fingers crossed!

Oh that's cruel making us pick just one album! 'No time for later' has a special place in my heart, because it's the first Trews album I bought. 'Den of Thieves' is another favourite, because it has so many good songs, Makin' Sunshine, Cry, Den of Thieves (it's on the UK version). The acoustic album brings back a lot of good memories of my first Trews concert. But if I was to pick one, I'd have to pick House of Ill Fame. Just because I love it. I was over the moon when I saw them play Stray live last year. But I can't vote for some reason

I've gone for DOT too. My first introduction to the band, so I've got a real soft spot for it.

Mine varies a bit but for the most part it's Den of Thieves. The songs are all great, the b-sides could have easily made the record, the production and tone is my favorite of the albums as well. From the new single, I think we may have a serious contender though.
Cheers

It's ironic that I'm tired of waiting but not ready to go.

Ill fame has to get my vote. The first album got me hooked.
Although, I do have to say that the guys have become much better song writers over time.
There is no overcoming a great first impression, which Ill Fame delivered.

Have them all, LOVE them all but I would say House of Ill Fame is my fav. Love the heavier sound in Black Halo and the jamming beat in Hollis & Morris. Haha living in hali, druken downtown nights usually end up smokin a dube on the corner of H&M, a tribute of sorts ; ) Gotta say I love the DVD too. Can't wait for Hope & Ruin!!!!
