Is this show like a Storytellers type forum? The two guys will play and talk about songs?

Yes, more or less. They'll all sing and talk about their music (and hopefully Blair will too). Is this show like a Storytellers type forum? The two guys will play and talk about songs?

Short, sweet and to the point: Absolutely freakin' AMAZING, in every way, shape and form. Okay, someone else who's more articulate in me, give everyone more detail.

I'll try, but all I'm thinking is WOW, WOW, WOW! Loved the location, parking was a treat, company was fabulous. The musicians were AMAZING!!
To have Ron Hynes play with Colin and John-Angus was a really nice surprise and a rare one too I bet. It was great to hear the story behind each song from each musician and what a nice mix of musicians too. Really enjoyed the final performance when everyone sang together. WOW, WOW, WOW!!
That was a nice way to see Colin and John-Angus off too before they head to the land of Oz. Cheers to a safe trip for everyone! Lets hope the sand and surf doesn't keep them away for too long.

Let's see... Ishmael & Maggie Find Someone Who Will (freakin' hilarious story about getting the line from Ron Hynes - AGAIN) Hope & Ruin (forever after now known as the Blue Jays' song) Poor Old Broken Hearted Me Then they backed up Ron on something he did (I'm sorry, I'm not really familiar with his music - hollisnotmorris, do you know what that song was?), and they all helped out with Sonny's Dream at the end. I feel like I'm missing one...I'm awful tired today... Sounds like a great night! What songs did they play?

I do not remember on which song Colin "doodled" along with Ron. It was the one that Ron started off with the Valentine's day story. He said they remember something on Valentine's day. I think it involved the sinking of a ship? i could be mistaken. I'll see if I can track it down.

You are so welcome! I'm just glad I snuck that in and I don't think Colin realized I had the camera on until the end. It was pretty much as laid back as you could get. Pretty cool how they move together, being brothers and all. I can't remember the name of the Valentine's song, but Ron told the story of St. Valentines and how someone lost their head so that we could celebrate a day of love. Ironic, eh? Does that help any? What a show!! I'm still smiling.

Loved every minute of this little get together. I've never been to one of these Sing and Tell shows before and to be honest I thought it was going to be a bit on the boring side but I couldn't have been more wrong.
I'm still blown away by "I'll find someone who will". The lyrics we so touching. I'd definately buy the whole album for this one song but I suppose it's because I'm such a sap. lol Certainly the highlight of my night (not including the hello and goodbye hugs).
I really wish there were more events like this where you get to know how and why certain songs were written and recorded.
