Have you seen the latest news? Check out the brand new look of the official Trews site over at www.thetrewsmusic.comYou'll also find new tour dates for April and packages ranging from $40 - $100 which include T-shirt, CD, ticket to the show and more.... I'm having mixed feelings about the meet & greet package. I love the concept but $100 may be a bit steep for the average fan. And, I'm a bit confused as to why they didn't decide to hand out T's and CD's at the show instead of mailing them. That would only mean I'll have to wait 3 days after to listen to it. Thoughts?

I totally agree. I feel that as a devoted fan of almost 8 years thats seen them almost 20 times that paying a 100 bucks to finally meet them seems ridiculous. But I finish my undergraduate degree a few days earlier and so I dont mind treating myself to this.

Congrats on the degree Travis! It's unbelievable that you've gone to so many of their concerts and never met them. They almost always come out to say hello after a gig.
I guess what this new concept means is that they won't be coming out to say hello after gigs anymore .....which is quite sad.

I've picked up VIP tickets to the St. Catharines show. I also picked up the $40 ticket packages for the Toronto show.
My only contention is that each package comes with only one ticket. Not many people want to go to a show alone, and many people are from the same household.
My girlfriend and I have have 4 CDs, 4 shirts, and two vinyls coming our way. The option to add one additional ticket to a package would have been nice.
Either way, we are super excited for the shows. I can justify supporting this great Canadian band monetarily.

I totally agree. Does anyone know if they will be selling just tickets to these shows or if you can only buy it as a package? I bought my CD/ticket combo for Edmonton and was thinking of getting tickets for Calgary too, but I don't really need another copy of the CD, especially when I might buy it on itunes anyway to get the bonus tracks.

Sherri, some super-sleuthing on the part of certain board members here *cough*Suse*cough* - found regular $22 tickets being sold for the St. Catharines gig on the 21st (whereas the only tickets through the boys' site is the $100 VIPs), so a suggestion is to take a look at the venue's website and see who their regular ticket seller is, and see if they have any available. They just might. I totally agree. Does anyone know if they will be selling just tickets to these shows or if you can only buy it as a package? Good idea. Nothing posted on the venue's website yet, so I'll just have to keep watching with my fingers crossed.
